Middle school students recently had the opportunity to learn more about law enforcement during an assembly presented by Sheriff Adams and Deputy Parker.
The officers shared information about their roles in the community. Students learned about the many responsibilities of law enforcement officers, the importance of building positive relationships with students and staff, and how officers work to help keep schools and communities safe.
Sheriff Adams and Deputy Parker also emphasized the importance of the relationships students build with one another. They encouraged students to understand that the way they treat and interact with others today can have an impact on their future. Positive relationships, respect, responsibility, and good choices can help shape the people they become and the opportunities available to them.
We appreciate Sheriff Adams and Deputy Parker for taking the time to connect with our students and for helping them better understand law enforcement, the importance of positive relationships, and the role they can play in building a safe and respectful school community.
