Gilman City R-IV School District
Tri-County R-VII School District
To Our Students, Families, and Communities,
The Gilman City and Tri-County School Districts share a deep and unwavering commitment to providing
exceptional educational experiences for all students. Both districts believe that every child deserves access to
high-quality instruction, meaningful learning opportunities, and a supportive environment that fosters academic
and personal growth.
Education extends beyond the classroom, and both districts proudly support a wide range of extracurricular and
co-curricular programs. From athletics and fine arts to academic clubs and leadership organizations, these
opportunities help students develop teamwork, creativity, responsibility, and confidence—skills that prepare
them for success in life beyond school.
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, the Gilman City and Tri-County School Districts will enter into a
cooperative partnership for Softball, Basketball, and Baseball. Under this agreement, Gilman City will oversee
Varsity Softball, Varsity Basketball, and Junior High Softball, while Tri-County will oversee Junior High
Basketball and Varsity Baseball. This collaboration will expand athletic opportunities for students, strengthen
both programs, and continue the tradition of teamwork and community pride that defines our schools.
Small schools are special. They offer a sense of community, belonging, and individual attention that allows
each student to be known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. The close-knit nature of our
schools strengthens relationships among students, staff, and families, creating a foundation of trust and shared
purpose.
Together, Gilman City and Tri-County School Districts remain dedicated to nurturing well-rounded students
who are prepared to contribute positively to their communities and the world.
Sincerely,
Gilman City R-IV School District
