The past couple weeks the Elementary has been working on a Read-A-Thon Fund raiser for PBS with great success! Today we announced multiple winners! The class that raised the most money will get the honor of throwing pies at Mrs. Cox. The class with this honor is 3rd grade!! The 2nd place class will get to have lunch with Mrs. Cox and that class is 1st grade! The 3rd place class gets an extra recess with Mrs. Cox and that class is 2nd grade!
We also gave out 3 gift baskets full of goodies to the students reading the most minutes. 1st place goes to Wilder Lowrey with 540 minutes, 2nd place to Kautiyah Jenson (not pictured) with 360 minutes and 3rd place to Ember Showalter with 315 minutes! Great job Mustangs!
Each classroom also drew names for Golden tickets, these students received Gift Certificates to the upcoming Book Fair for a book worth up to $10.00. Those students are L to R: Fawn Graves, Ember Showalter, Jentri Wray, Gavin Wray, Mariah King, Gabby Borders and Leo Cook.
