Student Council Honors Second Grade as Class of the Month
The Student Council representatives — Lily Turner, Ruger Turner, Addison Dodds, and Danni Critten — recently visited the second-grade classroom to present the Class of the Month Award. The students were thrilled to welcome their guests and proudly accepted the certificate recognizing their hard work and positive behavior.
The Class of the Month award is given to the class with the fewest number of minors, celebrating students who consistently show respect, responsibility, and kindness throughout the school day. This initiative is part of the school’s Positive Behavior Support (PBS) program, which encourages good choices and creates a positive learning environment.
During their visit, the student council members spent time getting to know the second graders, answering questions, and sharing what it’s like to be involved in student leadership. The representatives hope to set a strong example for younger students, showing that positive actions and teamwork make a big difference in the school community.
Congratulations to the second grade for earning this month’s honor!
