Tri-County staff members enjoyed a presentation on August 18th by Darbi Valenti-Huff. Darbi’s message can be summed up with her favorite quote,

Darbi shared how one adult made such a difference in her life. The one adult that changed the course of her life did so by empowering Darbi to dream big and support her in achieving those dreams. Carlena Leeper is that one caring adult who changed the course of Darbi’s life.
Mrs. Huff is a veteran teacher who specializes in teaching strategies that support students who live in stress. Making connections and building relationships with students and teachers alike is a vital part of supporting students as they reach for their dreams.
The Tri-County staff was moved by and encouraged by Darbi’s visit. It was a great start to a great first week of school.
