On Friday, September 13, the elementary school hosted their grandparents for a fun visit. The grandparents started their visit by attending the PIE/PBS monthly assembly. At this assembly students are recognized for meeting their reading goal, and positive behaviors. The assembly ended with students and teachers playing freeze dance.
After the assembly, grandparents accompanied their grandchild/children to their classrooms for games and fun. Third and fourth grade students interviewed their grandparents about what school was like when they were younger. Kindergarten, first, and second graders played bingo with their grandparent. A great time was had by all!
