In 2023 the middle and high school students were welcomed back to school with the concept of "Checking in" with a small group of students and an adult. These multi-age groups meet once a week to discuss school events, leadership, and community service. Students may be involved in a game that promotes collaboration and cooperation, or completing an art project to showcase the diversity of the group. These groups also participate in community projects such as sending thank you cards to local businesses that support our school, or picking up trash in town.
As we begin the new school year, students will once again, meet with their "Check In " group to continue to build skills and relationships that will serve them in their adult lives.
