On August 19th elementary students are invited to come to the school to visit with their teacher, and bring in their school supplies. Three-year-old preschoolers, and their families, are invited to the preschool room at 5:30, and four-year-old preschoolers, and their families, are invited to the preschool room at 6:30.
Kindergarten will also start at 5:30 with an orientation presentation by the principal Mrs. Cox, and the classroom teacher Mrs. Zeornes. Kindergartners and their parents are invited to bring in school supplies and all of their questions. This is also a time for parents to learn about PBS, expected routines, and classroom activities.
Open House for first through fourth grade students starts at 6:00 in the new gym with an introduction of the elementary staff. After a short presentation from the Title 1 program, families will go to their children's classrooms to drop of supplies, and visit with the teacher.
On August 20th at 5:30 Middle School Orientation will be in the old gym for grades fifth through eighth. After staff introductions, a review of middle school procedures will be presented to students and families. Next, students will get to see their locker, and classrooms. Parents will be guided in accessing Teacherease, which is the online gradebook which has student grades on classwork and tests.
